If you are interested in commissioning a work of art then this is the procedure:
Pricing:
This will depend on the size of the painting or drawing, what the medium is (oil paint, pastel, watercolour, coloured pencils…), and on the subject. Once this is decided, the shipping fees will be added.
Valentina works from photographs that can be sent by email. They have to be of the best quality as possible. Multiple photographs as reference for just one painting or drawing can be chosen, if necessary.
An estimated date of completion will be given. If you need it to be done by a certain date, please let the artist know.
Payment:
After you accept the quote, half the payment as a non-refundable deposit is required. The other half will be due upon completion. The commission will be shipped after the full payment has been received. Payments can be by bank transfer or PayPal.
During the process, photos of the piece will be sent to you to update you on how your artwork is coming along. If at any point you want something changed, do not hesitate to let the artist know.
Once the artwork is completed, you will receive a good quality photo for review.
Each piece is signed and dated on the front and back. All artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
Shipping:
Oil paintings will have to be completely dry before shipping; this could take around one week after completion. Drawings will be sprayed with a fixative.
Paintings and drawings that are bigger than 100 x 100 cm will be removed from the wooden frame and sent in a rolled tube.
Your artwork will be professionally packaged with great care and insured when shipped. A tracking number will be provided.
